Marlene

Marlene is a female otter that lives in the Otter Exhibit. Marlene (And other animals in the zoo) sometimes visits the Penguin Exhibit. She is very kind, and always trys to look at the better side of a person/animal. She always seems to be the optomist. Her optomism seems to always clash with Skipper's paranoia, yet that doesn't stop the two from being good friends. Marlene also welcomes any new animals in the zoo with open arms.

Marlene doesn't have an apparent side of the Penguin/Lemur conflict. In fact, she often finds herself helping the lemurs as much as she helps the penguins.

Marlene has won 3 trophies in a zoo contest before an unknown scandal took her out of competition.

She cannot leave the zoo walls without becoming vicious and falling in love with Julien. (This may or may not hint to secret feelings for him) However, she turns back to normal the moment she enters the zoo again. She also spoofs King Kong (or Queen Kong) by kidnapping King Julien to the most high tower in the park and the penguins fight her using model airplanes.
